poems
too much life

Life ought not to be
Where we want it not to be;
A cockroach in the crockery,
Cancer on an ovary.

Noah should have said Whoa!
To some of the pairs he laid eyes on.
No one should have to say "There's no room in"
To a prototype paison.

If a famous soliloquy
Were delivered by a killer bee
Our response would surely be,
"Shuffle off."
